Didn’t know Clarkin had died. I was watching a few interviews of his over Christmas, seemed a nice guy.

Really liked a lot of their earlier stuff but not heard a lot of their later offerings.

Sacred Hour, Two Hearts, Just Like An Arrow, Changes… I feel a guitar session coming on 😁🎸

Yes he seemed to come across as a nice bloke in interviews. Love their music with a soft spot for the 1982-1992 eta of albums. This new one and the one previous, the Monster Roars, are well worth a listen.

Love the Fish era Marillion stuff. Seen his solo stuff live a few times and met him a couple of times too, top bloke.

I got into music at the back end of punk then into the NWOBHM scene. More relaxed these days though with Floyd and bluesy Gary Moore stuff.

A best of Survivor, a band along with REO Speedwagon, Toto, Night Ranger, Foreigner et al were my regular plays when at school & poly in the 80s :)

I was never really a fan of this stuff back then. I much preferred the subtle tones of Motörhead or Iron Maiden at the time but quite like some of it now and often find myself with the odd tune on the playlist, Reo more often than not.

I revisited Hawkwinds Levitation album last night. Some serious drum work by Ginger Baker there for sure. They’re probably my second most seen live band. Levellers come top of the live show count but I’ve not been to a gig for ages. Can’t stand up for that long now 😂

Seen Hawkwind twice. Keele Uni back in the late 80s when they were supported by the Ozric Tentacles I think? Then many years later in London. Not a big fan but worth seeing live at least once.

Probably of no interest at all :ROFLMAO: but here's a bit of my "music zone" in the lounge

I can't tell you how many years it's taken for the Mrs to allow this to happen 😆
